Quarter 1 in Review 2008-9

Last year when I was finishing 5th grade, I thought 6th grade was going to be complicating because of all the things we had to keep track of.
Actually, I found out that 6th grade was FUN! There were a lot of activities to participate in and a lot more time to spend with our friends.
I thought it was going to be hard but it turned out to be easy.
Something I had no idea about but turned out to be important was lockers. We had to remember our locker combination, not tell it to any one else and keep it in a good condition.
August 14 was the first day of school. I remember that we were all excited and all jumping up and down, happy to see our friends.
During August after school activities began. I participated in SAISA swimming and I remember how tiring it was. Also, I did the Middle School Play which I still am in. I am a newspaper woman and a ritual dancer in India.
September 18 we had class retreats. I remember all of the fun activities we did at the Gulshan Youth Club and the chance to go swimming with our friends at the ARA.
We took ISA tests in October. They were hard.
We have a big break from October 18 - 28. I plan to hang out with my friends.
There are a lot of changes this year. Something I am really good at is opening my locker.
Something I am not so good at is keeping track of the time and being right on time in class.
Something I would like to improve on is learning more skills in all my subjects.
I helped the new students go to the right class when they were confused.
Next year I am hoping to be more independent and attentive.
